FHSU Women’s Soccer Continues Conference Road Swing at Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western

Fort Hays State Women’s Soccer continues its four-match road swing in conference play on Friday and Sunday (Oct. 16 & 18). The Tigers play at Northwest Missouri State at 3 pm on Friday, then at Missouri Western at 12 pm on Sunday. The Tigers enter the weekend at 6-6 overall and 3-3 in the MIAA.

Both Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western trail the Tigers in the MIAA standings. FHSU is currently tied for sixth with Emporia State. Missouri Western is eighth at 2-3-1, while Northwest Missouri State is 10th at 1-4-1. MWSU has a winning mark overall at 6-4-1, while NWMSU has struggled to a 2-6-3 record so far.

Cassi Moosburger leads the Tigers in points with eight, scoring two goals and shelling out four assists so far. Kristen Thompson has started 10 matches in goal and has a record of 5-5.

The Tigers have gone 0-2 on their four-match road swing so far, suffering losses at Northeastern State and Central Oklahoma last week.
