In an announcement today the Kansas Board of Regents have stated they will hold a meeting tomorrow at 10:30 a.m., in the Memorial Union ballroom, on the campus of Fort Hays State University.

While the announcement does not address what the meeting is about, the Board has been interviewing candidates for the next FHSU president, and the originally scheduled date for that announcement was last week.

Five candidates were sent to the regents for consideration, but only four remain eligible as Tom Jackson has accepted a position at another university. FHSU had recently released the curriculum vita for all five candidates.

Current president Ed Hammond announced his retirement early in the academic year, to take effect in June.

T.M.N. will stream the event live and will cover the story as it breaks.
