Fort Hays State University will hold another After Dark event tonight at 9 p.m. in the Memorial Union. The theme for this event is “It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s After Dark.”
During the event there will be food, drinks, including a root beer keg, bingo, henna tattoo artists, a tarot card reader, a caricature artist, and more, to be wrapped up with a showing of Man of Steel, last years movie following the origins of Superman. Event attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to musical guest Shannon Curtis. There will also be drawings for Marvel DVD’s, a flat-screen TV, and a Nintendo DS.
The event is free for all students, and $3 dollars for general admission.
As with all After Dark events, there is a number of sponsors including the Center for Student Involvement, Memorial Union, University Activities Board, Chartwells, FHSU Bookstore, Tiger CLAWS, Academic Advising and Career Exploration Center.
This event is the third in the After Dark series this semester, another event is planed for November 15, themed “After Dark Hunger Games.”
