SGA and ADP hold Gun Policy Town Hall

On April 12, the Student Government Association, in conjunction with the American Democracy Project, will hold a public town hall about gun policy and the changes coming to campus on July 1st.

The panel that will be discussing the new concealed carry policy and its impact on the FHSU campus will be FHSU’s General Counsel, Kerry Wasinger, Director of Residential Life, Christiana Hurtado, University Police Chief Ed Howell, Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs, Kenton Olliff, Assistant Professor Bryan Bennett, SGA President Emily Brandt, and SGA Legislative Affairs Director, Brent Hirsch.

The town hall will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 12th in the Memorial Union’s Black and Gold Room.  This town hall is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend this important event.
