After a five game road trip that sent the Tigers to Oklahoma, Colorado, and Missouri Fort Hays is back in the confines of the FHSU Soccer Stadium for two games.

The Tigers struggled on the road going 1-4, with their only win against Northwestern Oklahoma State 5-1 with two of the losses counting as conference losses.
“Our build up play is great, we just need to be more decisive in the final third (of the game),” Shaw said.
The Tigers are hoping the trip home can spark some momentum to swing their way as they sit 2-5 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.
“It would be nice to get back on a winning streak and get as many fans as we can out, just so we can have some support,” Shaw said.
On tab for Fort Hays for this home stand are a Tuesday matchup with Bethany College at 7 p.m. and a Friday contest with MIAA foe Missouri Southern State University.
The Sweedes come in at 2-3 and are led by Sarah Henderson who leads the team with nine points. The Lions of Missouri Southern come in fifth in the conference at 1-0-1 and 2-3-1 overall. Katelyn Roberson leads her squad with two goals and teammate Karley Thomas leads the MIAA in assists with four. It won’t be easy for the Tigers to score in this contest as Missouri Southern goalie, Beth Hammons has the third highest save percentage in the MIAA.
The Tigers are led by freshman Sabrina Van Horn and junior Hailey Davey who both are tied for 10th in goals in the conference. Freshman Hannah Jurgens is third in the conference in assists with three and goalie junior Nicole Barnaba is ninth in the conference with 20 saves.
Defensively the Tigers have issues as they have given up the second most goals in the conference at 10, but offensively rank sixth in goals per game.
