The Student Government Association is hosting a poverty simulation this Saturday, February 4th from 10:00am-3:30 pm. The simulation will be in the Memorial Union Lobby and the event will be sponsored by the Global Leadership Project. The importance of this event is to show the struggle of poverty but in a fun way.
Participants will be given a life and will have to navigate through their life with the resources that they have. It will teach students how to budget and always be prepared for whatever life throws at them.
