Tigers Welcomed Home After Record Post Season Win

Video By Raven Dick

Last night at 7pm, our Heart of Texas Bowl Champions came back home after a long bus ride back from Killeen, TX. Fort Hays State broke program history this weekend after defeating Eastern New Mexico 45-12 which was their first ever post-season win.

The Tigers continue to do well under Head Coach Chris Brown who improved to 38-30. Each season Brown has improved his number of wins per season by one game. The Tigers finished their season 8-4 tying the school record for most wins in a season for the second straight year.

EMNU lead FHSU in almost all stats including first downs and total offensive yards, however, they also lead in penalties with 21 and gave up 226 total yards and ultimately, did not lead FHSU on the scoreboard.

Plans are being made to honor the FHSU Tigers soon for their win.
