When one thinks of Ukraine, indie-rock and post punk revival music doesn’t come to mind, Indytronics is changing that. Based in Kiev, Daniel Bogdanenko, Vitaliy Koutsiuk, Ruslan Dobrov, Denys Rybchenko found their inspiration when Daniel and Denys were traveling across the Europe and came across street musicians in Stockholm, Sweden playing that indie-rock, post-punk sound. After hearing it, they were inspired to create something by their own when they came back to Kiev.
Indytronics released their first EP, Vision in 2013 and followed it up with their debut LP Scintilla Wave in 2015.
