Tadlock and Stoppel Named to NABC Honors Court for 2014-15

Fort Hays State’s Jared Tadlock and Jake Stoppel of men’s basketball were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court on July 30. The NABC Honors Court recognizes men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

To earn the distinction, the student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and a varsity player, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2014-15 academic year, have at least one year of attendance at their current institution, and be a member of an NCAA Division I, II, or III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with an NABC member coach.

Tadlock, a senior from Conifer, Colo., completed his athletic eligibility in 2014-15, but carried a 3.43 GPA as an Art major. Stoppel, a junior from Wilson, Kan., finished the 2014-15 year with a 3.57 GPA, majoring in Agriculture.
