Celestial is the musical endeavor of Celeste Tauchar, a 20-year-old alternative pop artist from California, currently located in Miami, FL.Born in Germany and raised in Northern California, she was surrounded by an array of musical styles growing up, stemming from her dual heritages. She has been trained in jazz and contemporary music, she plays the piano, guitar, cello, and ukulele, and has opened for artists ranging from Kurt Elling to Sara Bareilles.
Currently, she is studying at Music Business and Contemporary American Music at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Her debut EP, “Asphyxiate EP”, is being released as four singles throughout July. A unique blend of pop, alternative, and jazz roots sets this work apart from the mainstream pop otherwise available today.
