Kansas lawmakers approved a bill loosening restrictions on carrying weapons into public buildings sparking a hot debate all over the FHSU campus

The law, which took effect in July permits universities, community colleges and technical colleges to prohibit concealed guns in their buildings for another four years provided they show adequate campus building security.
