A traffic accident on Saturday afternoon caused damage to a least two buildings on the 1100 block of Main in downtown Hays.
It is unclear at this time what caused the accident, but several people on the scene reported an elderly woman driving the white car pictured above initially hit an empty building just south of Couture, 1109 Main, hitting at least one parked car.
The car seemed to continued forward also striking Tri-Central Office Supply, 1101 Main, breaking a large display window.
No injuries have been reported due to the accident at this time.
Officials from Midwest Energy were on the scene assessing damage, as officers from the Hays Police Department and the Hays Fire Department worked to block traffic and secure the damaged buildings.
