The Fort Hays State University police are investigating a delayed report of a battery and criminal restraint, which occurred at Lot J (East of Stadium Place Apartments), between 10:40 p.m. to 10:50 p.m., on 02/02/2015.

The female victim reported that she was confronted by a group of five guys. Victim reports that two were white males and three were African American males, all between 5’11” and 6’00 tall, and wearing blue jeans. Both of the white males were described as wearing T-shirts with hoodies.

One of the white males was described as wearing cowboy style boots. One of the African American males was described as wearing a tank top and having a tattoo running from his wrist to the mid-bicep of his right arm. A second African American male was described as wearing a long sleeve shirt that was possibly yellowish in color.

There are no other descriptors for the fifth male. The victim reported that she was approached by the men and restrained against her vehicle, until she was able to push away and run to safety. No injuries were sustained by the victim and no medical attention was needed.
