Nov. 6 – Nov. 9 Weekend concert update

Thursday, November 6

Claire Domingue brings her live acoustic show from Austin, Texas to the Sip ‘n’ Spin beginning at 10 p.m.

A classical piano player since age 6, guitar player, singer and songwriter since 14, Domingue has made her music her life. She has taken the stories of her life and those close to her and creates personal and emotional songs and roots them in multiple styles of folk.

On her debut album, “Someday You’ll Know,” she uses her skills on guitar, piano, and mandolin with a no-frills band and occasional string accompaniment.

Thursday, November 6

Blues, Country, and Folk artist Joe Dinkel will perform at Gella’s Diner and Lb. Brewing Co. beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, November 8

Stillwater, Okla., natives, Jasaon Boland and the Strugglers will perform at Singers.

On their new studio album, “Dark And Dirty Mile,” Boland and his compatriots use a wide array of techniques to illustrate feelings of rejection and redemption, dark clouds and silver linings, all assembled in the rough-hewn manner that’s earned him an ever-growing fan base – a following that’s snapped up more than a half-million records over the past decade and change.
